📣Attention all Driver’s & Race Teams: January 31st will be the 38th Annual Ozark Racer Foundation Induction Event. It’s time to polish and show off that new body/graphics and even possible obtain interested Sponsorship for the upcoming Season. This Event Inducts/Honors 4 Legends & 4 Pioneers from local Racing into the Hall of Fame. There are hundreds of people who attend to see not only the induction, but see/talk to area Drivers, Track Booths, Memorabilia, Autographs and yes look at all the Race Cars/Karts on Display.
If you would like to Show Off your ride you will get 2 Free Tickets to the Event. This Event is Particularly Special to this Promoter because one of the Pioneers came from Karting and Raced against this Promoter back in the day and 2 College Scholarship Awards being presented to a couple of Driver’s I think you’ll know.

Thelma June “Tally” Shaw
August 4, 1966 — December 26, 2025
Thelma June “Tally” Shaw, age 59, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with an undiagnosed illness. Born in Springfield, Missouri on August 4, 1966, Tally was the daughter of Hazel June Westmoreland and Louis James Lovell.
On December 18, 1999, Tally married the love of her life, Thomas E. Shaw Jr., and together they built a beautiful life in Springfield, Missouri. Tally’s greatest passions were her son Thomas and her family, who meant everything to her. She also loved traveling, fulfilling her dream of seeing 48 states, with only Alaska and Hawaii remaining on her bucket list. Along her journeys, she delighted in meeting new people and formed countless friendships. Known for her generous and selfless spirit, Tally had a profound love for helping others, often putting their needs before her own.
Tally received her GED from Central High School in Springfield, Missouri, class of 1984. During high school, she met her best friend Missy Matthews, a friendship that lasted 45 years, and they worked together at the Welfare office in Springfield. Tally also worked for Mar-Lou Leathercraft for 10 years as a quality control inspector before becoming disabled.

Her parents, Hazel June Westmoreland and Louis James Lovell; sister Deloris Westmoreland; and brothers and sisters-in-law Donald Dwayne Shaw, Robert Leslie Shaw, Edward Lee Shaw, Barbara Jean Webb (Shaw), Harry LeRoy Shaw, Evelyn Louise Pugh (Shaw), Tommy Wayne Shaw, and Harold Wesley Shaw.
Survived By:
Husband: Thomas “Tombo” Shaw
Son: Thomas E. Shaw III
Siblings: Jimmy Westmoreland, John Westmoreland, and Joyce Gann
Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Michael Eugene Shaw (Linda), Ronald Dean Shaw (Mary), Curtis James Shaw, Clinton Ryan (April), Ricky Ryan, Teresa Ryan (Mr. Bill Stennett), Carl Shaw (Denise), and Tammy Brannon (Shaw) (Jimmy)
Additionally: Tally is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Tally was a beloved wife, mother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
