Immediate Update:
Central Missouri Speedway
2026 Race Schedule
Owner Bob King: After receiving emails from fans, speaking with drivers and talking with the staff at Central Missouri, Speedway, we have determined that drivers and fans are having issues getting to the race track by 7:00 pm on Friday nights. The car count and attendance has reflected this on the Fridays we have ran.
Due to these issues and the numerous spring rainouts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Friday night program. We will cut the 600cc Micros from the schedule the remainder of this year, we will adjust the Saturdays schedule to accommodate Guest Class A-mods, and Late Models throughout the remainder of the 2026 race season.
An updated schedule will be out soon, in the meantime Friday night racing will be removed from the 2026 CMS schedule.

BATTLE FOR THE AXE: MUSKRAT RETAKES CONTROL AFTER AN INTENSE WEEK 4 SHAKEUP! …
πͺπ₯ BATTLE FOR THE AXE: MUSKRAT RETAKES CONTROL AFTER AN INTENSE WEEK 4 SHAKEUP! π₯π
The 2026 Battle For The Axe championship chase continues getting tighter by the week, and Week 4 delivered ANOTHER major shakeup at the top of the standings as drivers from across the Midwest continue battling for the coveted Dirt Warrior Championship. ππͺ
After briefly surrendering the point lead one week ago, Stilwell, Oklahomaβs Michael Muskrat stormed back to the top of the standings following another strong weekend of competition. πͺπ₯
Muskrat now reclaims control of the axe heading into Week 5, but the margin separating the top contenders is still razor thin with 23 weeks remaining in this brutal championship fight. π
Camdenton, Missouriβs Waylon Dimmitt continues applying pressure in the second position, sitting ONLY 11 points behind the leader. π₯
Dimmitt has quietly put together one of the most consistent starts to the season and continues proving heβs going to be a serious threat every single week this summer. π
One of the biggest movers coming out of Week 4 is Ava, Missouriβs Dustin Isaacs, who climbed into the third spot in the standings after another strong performance. ππ₯
Isaacs now sits just 18 points out of the lead and has officially inserted himself directly into the championship conversation. πͺ
Meanwhile, Sundance Keepper slips back to fourth overall after leading the standings entering Week 4, but remains VERY much alive in this fight sitting only 23 points back. π€
And if the first month of this series has shown us anythingβ¦
ITβS THAT THESE STANDINGS CAN CHANGE IN A HURRY. β οΈπ₯
Further back, the battle throughout the remainder of the Top 10 continues heating up as Michael Willoughby Racing , Jeff Ayres, Rylin Huber, Jackie Dalton Racing, Afton Palmer, and David Matney continue fighting for position in one of the tightest point races in Midwest dirt racing. ππ¨
Through four weeks, Battle For The Axe has already delivered exactly what racers and fans hoped for:
π₯ Intense competition
π₯ Weekly momentum swings
π₯ Multiple classes battling together
π₯ Drivers from different tracks and states colliding every weekend
π₯ And absolutely ZERO room for mistakes
This isnβt a championship where anyone can afford to cruise. π³
Every lap matters.
Every finish matters.
Every single point matters. πͺπ
Because one bad night can bury a contenderβ¦ and one breakout weekend can completely flip this championship upside down. π€―π₯
As we head toward Week 5, the pressure continues building and the axe is only getting heavier to carry. ππͺ
Who survives this 27-week war and earns the title of 2026 Dirt Warrior Champion? ππ₯
Huge thank you to our title sponsors for helping fuel the battle all season long:
π‘ Insurance Group of the Ozarks – Jason Justice
π₯ Rush Race Gear

π A&S Handyman service
π WEEK 5 IS NEXTβ¦ WHOβS READY FOR WAR?! π₯πͺ
