Well our first night at Monett didnt go as planned with the weather but we made the most of it. We got kids to redraw for the drivers and one happy little girl that won the trophy with Tanner Mullins winning the race. She drew him a #1 so she wins if he wins and man was shes all smilesπ Tonight we will be back to the norm with pit tours for the kids so come early and get those kiddos signed up ππππππ

I didn’t take many pictures tonight but this girl… Tulsa served her some confidence.
Emma is a track that changes really quick and isn’t the easiest for some of the most skilled drivers. Tonight she was a top dog in her heat but the dust got her on the white flag. She started p5 in both features finished p4 and p5.
I’m sure some of you read this and think she didn’t do much or some parents at the track watch me jump for joy when my girl finishes a hard fought feature. We have struggled getting her to turn the track into a circle instead of an oval. We have struggled with getting her to let the car drive and you just guide it. Tonight this girl fish tailed the corners, she learned to turn right to go left, she made that track the most perfect circle and she drove ahead to avoid cautions. We didn’t give her the gear for speed because we wanted her to be comfortable with herself since she was showing tremendous growth.
This track was damn near frozen solid and slick as could be. We will forever give up every weekend, vacation time and extra money to watch this girl grow. Mark my words she’s ready for year 2 and she’s coming out swinging πππ§‘

I didn’t get a whole lot of time to film racing action, but the pre-race felt very nostalgic. It was great to see the pits and the stands filled up last night. The video was to long for tik tok, but I can still post it here. Thank you to everyone involved last night, it was certainly a treat.
