The monument was placed today at it’s new home inside the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. A special thank you goes out to Jake Diemer and everyone at Greenlawn Funeral Homes, without their help along with all of the great donors that stepped forward to make this event possible! This is just first step of many to come to help preserve the great racing history and the people who made it!

A Special Welcome to Our Newest Partner:
Greenlawn Funeral Home, Inc.
We’re proud to announce that Greenlawn Funeral Home has joined the Show-Me Dirt family as a partner, and this partnership means more to me personally than most.
For generations, my family has trusted Greenlawn during life’s most difficult moments. Most recently, they helped us lay my wife to rest with a level of compassion, dignity, and professionalism that I’ll never forget. In those hardest days, their team treated our family like their own.
Greenlawn has been serving families throughout the Springfield and Branson areas with five locations, combining over 850 years of combined staff experience. They’re not a corporate chain—they’re a local, family-owned business that truly understands what it means to serve this community with heart.
We reached out to them about supporting Show-Me Dirt, and I’m grateful they said yes. They’ve been there for my family for decades, and I’m honored to have them supporting what we do here.
Please join me in welcoming Greenlawn Funeral Home to the Show-Me Dirt community. Learn more about them at greenlawnfuneralhome.com.
