Yes, the rumors are true—we are launching the United by Dirt MWM Touring Series in 2027!
Our goal is to build a strong following and create a series that pays drivers better than a typical local event—without putting an unreasonable financial burden on the tracks that host us.
The reality is that paying $10,000–$15,000 for a touring event that brings only 15–20 cars can be devastating to a racetrack. Many tracks do not make money on those nights, and some lose enough to wipe out much of their profit for the entire season.
I want this series to work for both the drivers and the tracks. It takes both sides working together to break racing out of its current rut and move the sport into its next chapter.
Our goal is to bring 20–40 MWM cars to every event while providing competitive payouts, quality racing and real value for each host track.
I want to build this series the right way. I know mistakes will be made along the way, but with my right-hand man, Leroy, beside me, I believe we can turn this into a respected and lasting part of dirt-track racing.
One of our first steps will be assembling a five-person panel made up of people from within the MWM class. This panel will serve as a sounding board and participate in roundtable video discussions after each race.
Topics will include:
● Areas where the series needs to improve
● Situations or incidents that occurred during an event
● Rulebook reviews
● Technical inspection procedures
● Decisions involving penalties or enforcement
● Other matters affecting the future of the series
This series will be operated without favoritism, emotion or bias. The rules will apply equally to everyone.
For example, if someone enters another competitor’s pit area looking for trouble and that violates the rules, the rule will be enforced. The panel will review the situation to ensure the decision is consistent and fair. No one will receive a free pass because of who they are or whose name is on their back.
When a rule is clearly written and fairly enforced, there should be no question about why a penalty or suspension was issued.
I will not run this series as a dictator. I will run it as a policy enforcer, with accountability, consistency and fairness at the center of every decision.
This is about building something that benefits drivers, racetracks and fans alike.
We are the United by Dirt MWM Touring Series—and this is only the beginning.
