The monument was placed today at it’s new home inside the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. A special thank you goes out to Jake Diemer and everyone at Greenlawn Funeral Homes, without their help along with all of the great donors that stepped forward to make this event possible! This is just first step of many to come to help preserve the great racing history and the people who made it!
Just talked to Clay at Greenlawn Funeral Home, Inc. About a monument for Tally Shaw and myself. Meeting tomorrow about making something that will honor her life here in earth.

Today we removed the Ozarks Area Racers Foundation monument from the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame property which is being repurposed. It was transported to Greenlawn Monument to be returned to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds at a later date. We want to thank all the employees at Greenlawn for their hard work and careful preparation during the move,and to R&D Crane Service for getting us in their schedule.
