Kart Race Day information
There are 4 reserved parking spots against the building that will be marked with orange cones. These are for 4 of the track sponsors. We have had problems with people moving the cones and parking there anyway. If you decide to do that you will be notified to move or risk being towed at your expense.
Doors open @ 9:00
Registration 9-12:00
Signing in after 12:00 you will start at the back for your heat with NO passing points.
Pre-tech 9-12:15 (in tech area)
Drivers Meeting 12:30

Races to follow
As you enter the premises Registration is in the building straight ahead. If you are going to back up to unload you must enter the premises to the right of the gate and form a line for registration. If you have someone that drives your tow vehicle, they can purchase their pit pass at the Grandstand table that would keep the line outside moving.
Do not block gravel road, north out roads or the I-70 ramps.
Gate will open @ 9:00. For those that are going to push your kart and items inside. You may enter through the gate and go ahead and park, then go to registration to get registered and pick up armband.
There are 3 lanes to back up & unload.
When backing up to unload please unload your trailer/vehicle at the grid area and move out quickly. Do Not make several trips to your pit spot. We need to get everyone unloaded before drivers meeting.
Everyone entering the Arena needs to purchase a Pit Pass or Grandstand Pass. You CANNOT unload without a pit pass.
Reserved Pit Spot information !
If you had a reserved pit spot last year and want to keep that same spot. You can do that during September 6-18.
If you want to move you will have to wait till open reserved times.
If your spot was taken by a sponsor you will have first choice during the open reserved times.
Remember, pit spots are 10’x10’ and are $50 per spot
One kart per spot.
Spots are not good for the Winter Classic.
As always pit spots are not considered reserved till payment is received.
Reservations will be as follow:
Sponsors: August 2 – September 5
Last Year Pit Spot holders: September 6 – September 18
Open Reservations starting on September 20

We are pleased to publish our first-ever reserved pit stalls map. The initial response has been incredible and we expect there will be additional requests.
Many drivers and teams have asked about payment options. Each stall is $100 and payment by check is now open. Be sure to include the name of the driver and stall number to the following address: Central Missouri Speedway, 2807 Owens School Road, Independence, MO 64057.
The other payment option will be cash or check on the practice day at CMS, which takes place on Saturday, April 12 from 5 to 8 pm.
Contact us by PM if you cannot pay by one of these methods. After the practice day, we will return pre-reserved stalls back to available status if payment is not finalized, so please take action as needed.
