What a sight to see here at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway. Great work, everyone.
I am officially two weeks away from my last day of work for the City of Springfield, MO, as my two-week notice was sent at 3:29 pm on August 25, 2026.
We made it, Tally Shaw. I wish you were here so we could enjoy all the plans we had for retirement. My last day at work will be September 4th, and my last day of employment will be September 8th, so I can get that last holiday pay on the 7th LOL.
With that, I don’t plan to do a lot. I am making plans to go visit some of the places Tally and I were looking forward to seeing.
I will keep doing my Show-Me Dirt stuff while helping anyone who may need help along the way. I am also open to traveling to pick up Items you may need from locations all over the place; no place is too far, so if you need an Item that you need ASAP, hit me up and let’s see if we can make it happen.
I would say we are patiently waiting for raceday, but we have been hard at work getting the Masters Motorsports LLC Late Model ready for this Saturday.
After this past weekend we had body work to do, full engine look over (due to a faulty breather scaring us that something was wrong in the engine), fuel system clean out, and fixing the brakes after finding an issue with the right rear.
Can’t wait to get back on track!

Had a great work day at the track today! We got a lot of work done in preparation for Friday night. Thanks to all those that came out to help.

After a long winter of hard work, Ben will finally be making his debut in the Bomber class at Monett Motor Speedway tonight. We are very excited, Hot laps start at 7:00, racing at 8:00. We hope to see you there!
