2nd Annual Looney Glass Prairie Kart Classic Thursday Aug 13 Bois D’Arc Speedway
The PKC which was ran last year at Will Tattershall and Haley Burros Tatterpatch Speedway in Bois D’Arc, Mo. , has moved just down the road to Tina and Tim Moore’s Bois D’Arc Speedway! The Icon Graphics and Apparel417 OKA “Presented by Kinder Auto Sales” will saddle up the wagons for their 1st ever visit to BDS.
Last year saw Republic, Mo hotshoe Payton Looney, in his Penske Shocks, Capital Race Carts #15 machine top the 27 kart field. Lake Mooneyham and James Smith III found themselves in Beauty + Wellness Co Victory Lane as, both had won Qualifying Showdowns earlier in the evening.
Chloe Farr inked her name into the Sho Me Dents Jr OKA history books. , as she was class of the field in the Jr Outlaws portion of the PKC a year ago.
Another stout field of karts is expected to be in Bois D’Arc Mo Thursday August 13th for round 3 of the Ferguson Land & Cattle Crown Jewel Cup, gunning for that BIG Bragging Right$ Check and to sit in Beauty + Wellness Co Victory Lane to shoot off the pistols.
Alot of history has been made at this track over its time operating races. But it has been 7 long years since that last green flag has been waived. It’s a unique and challenging track that is expected to give the 417 OKA regulars and any driver that has had some experience there some fits.
Turns 1/2 is flat and Turns 3/4 is banked.
Max Walker comes into the wkd on a hot streak. Winning back to back events and 2 out of 3 417 OKA races.
Last years Champ Casey Mooneyham has took over command and sitting atop the Icon Graphics and Apparel point standings. Holding a 8 point advantage over brotherly love teammate Aaron Mooneyham
